Lydia Playfoot (pictured below), 16, wore a “purity ring” at school where jewelry was not allowed. The High Court (I guess the supreme court equivalent) decided that it was stupid of her to be allowed to have special treatment to wear it when rules SPECIFICALLY state that students are not allowed jewelry.
